Treatment Strategy to Cure Lyme Disease

Lyme disease is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi, which is transmitted to humans by a bite from an infected deer tick. This black-legged tick becomes infected after feeding on infected deer or mice. A tick has to be present on the skin for 24 to 48 hours to transmit the infection, however, transmission time can be as short as 10 minutes.

There is a lot of controversy on treatment strategies of Lyme disease. A range of antimicrobial and non- antimicrobial therapies are used by patients. Standard western medical treatment for Lyme disease includes doxycycline or amoxicillin, 14 to 21day course of antibiotics is usually recommended. Due to failure of this standard medical therapy, some people are using alternative unconventional treatments. People are desperate for an effective and safe solution. Under all these circumstances, someone's claim of finding an alternative, unconventional cure to this devastating disease can't remain under cover, the world would go gaga over it.

Some researchers after a lot of hard work concluded that a combination of different approaches would be more effective and safe.  Joseph Burrascano M.D. and his peer, Dr. Eva Sapi believed that conventional antibiotics should be accompanied by herbal supplements and lifestyle changes for a completely integrated cure.

Will Wiegman PhD, a Lyme disease sufferer, cured himself with antimicrobial therapy different from standard Western medical protocol, mixed in with some herbal and alternative therapy in just 60 days.
